Michael D. Lubrani
Michael D. Lubrani received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and is a 1984 Cum Laude Graduate from Pepperdine University School of Law. While at Pepperdine, he was a member of the Pepperdine University Law Review and Vice President of the Pepperdine University Board of Professional Standards. He was on the Dean's List all three years and was a recipient of the Dean's Honor Award.
For 19 years Mr. Lubrani practiced with a large Los Angeles law firm and eventually held a position on their Board of Directors. He was instrumental in developing the firm's Inland Empire presence and also managed the firm's Riverside office. In 1994, Mr. Lubrani moved his practice to the Inland Empire where he has been practicing ever since.
Mr. Lubrani's practice consists primarily of the defense and trial of civil litigation including professional liability (medical and legal malpractice), general liability, sexual harassment, employment discrimination, medical and chiropractic board matters, business matters and real estate. He has tried cases in the counties of Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Orange, Kern and San Diego.
Michael Lubrani has substantial jury trial experience and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates; a select national organization devoted to the preservation and promotion of the jury trial system and civility in the practice of law. Membership is reserved for those with substantial trial experience and those "of high personal character and honorable reputation." Mr. Lubrani boasts a 92% success rate at trial.
Mr. Lubrani has also acted as an expert witness on various legal issues and has lectured to a variety of professionals on various aspects of risk management. He has lectured to physicians, chiropractors, acupuncturists, attorneys and legal assistants. "Certainly good trial counsel is important. On the other hand, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. While you may not be able to prevent a particular lawsuit, aggressive risk management before the fact can improve your chances of a successful outcome and make your case easier to defend."
